How to Get Started

We treat adults aged 18+ and offer therapy under Medicare, WorkCover, DVA, third-party insurance, or private self-funding.

Medicare & DVA Clients

Step 1: Submit an Enquiry
If you are a new patient, click Email Us below to submit your enquiry.

Step 2: GP Referral
Please obtain a referral from your GP. This is required before we can book your initial appointment. It can be addressed to The Psych Collective Clinic so we can use it for any clinician.

Step 3: Complete Online Assessment
Once your referral is submitted, complete the Online Assessment tool here, so we can ensure our services are the right fit for you.

Workers Compensation Clients

Step 1: Submit an Enquiry
If you are a new patient, click Email Us below to get started.

Step 2: GP Referral + Approval
Please obtain a referral from your GP and written approval from your insurance case manager before we can book your initial appointment. Your case manager needs to email the approval to us.

Step 3: Complete Online Assessment
Once your referral is submitted, complete the Online Assessment tool here, so we can ensure our services are the right fit for you.

Open Arms Clients

Step 1: Submit an Enquiry
If you are a new patient, click Email Us below to submit your enquiry.

Step 2: Call Open Arms
We are registered with BUPA Open Arms to offer individual therapy and couples counselling. You need to call Open Arms to ask them to refer you to us directly. If you are seeking couples counselling, both partners need to call and complete a brief telephone screening assessment.

Step 3: Complete Online Assessment
Once your referral is submitted, complete the Online Assessment tool here, so we can ensure our services are the right fit for you.

NDIS Clients

Step 1: Submit an Enquiry
If you are a new patient, click Email Us below to get started. We are only accepting plan-managed and self-managed clients for psychological assessments at this time.

Step 2: Get Approval
We can provide a quote for the psychological assessment. If you are plan-managed, please obtain written approval from your plan manager before we book your initial appointment. If you are self-managed, full payment is required on the day of the appointment. Please note we are cashless. 

Step 3: Online Assessments will be sent
To optimise your assessment process, online questionnaires will be sent via email before the appointment. Please let us know if you will need extra assistance with this.
